A: The average content of polyphenols of our 100% California EVOO is ~ 253 mg/kg. It should be noted that while the levels of polyphenols stay relatively consistent, the exact numbers do fluctuate from year to year and over the lifetime of the oil. Other influential factors include climate, olive varietals and time the olives themselves were harvested and pressed during the harvest season.

Q: Why is the 25.4oz. bottle so much more expensive than the 16.9oz. bottle? The larger bottle has only 50% more oil, but the cost is more than double (over 100% more expensive than) the smaller bottle.

Albeit this "extra virgin Oil " is rated as one of the best and pure;it fails two test: refrigerated for 24 hours,came as liquid and not even cloudy,it should burn a swab full of oil when it was not.- According to recommended these test this oil "failed" which I concluded that this is and "adulterated" Olive oil.-

Turns out this brand unfortunately has phthalates. I used to use and trust this brand consistently for years too. I'm so disappointed. Can't trust any of these food companies anymore.

Great Quality. I’m a big fan of authentic EVOO and this is one of them. Yes, it’s expensive but you’ll get what you pay for. It’s green and grassy, I got the peppery sensation going down, very nice! I’ve used it for just about every recipes that called for olive oil. Also great for bread dipping with a bit of basil pesto.

Make sure you get the 100% California oil! it's really delicious and versatile- this is great for salad dressing and for cooking, but is not a finishing oil. It is a great value, and since it is 100% from California there is no overseas shipping so the oil is, and tastes, fresher than comparably priced olive oils
