I purchased three of these chairs. One for each of my kids. Only one came properly manufactured. The other two cannot be adjusted fully to the tallest height making them useless. When you crank them all the way up one side goes all the way up and the other does not. It's as if one side of the pre-assembled mechanism was made shorter than the other. You can tell immediately upon taking them out of the box if they were made correctly or not. There is a bar in between the posts that the seat sits on that is a part of the cranking mechanism. If it's not level it will not work. You can also tell because there are measurement lines on each side of the posts. If they do not both rest at a equal starting position, it will not crank up equally. It is very disappointing because I really liked the idea of these chairs and wanted them to work. I tried everything I could to solve the problem at home but there is nothing that can be done but to return them.
