I would play with it on my hand before putting it on to go out because it does have really nice pigment but doesn't seem like you can mess with it too much after applying.

I wasn't going anywhere but a doctor's appointment so I opt for a smaller amount. It gave my cheeks a natural looking rosy glow. I assume if you apply more product it will be darker, like my hand in the picture. It was easy to apply and the gel serum blush is in a squeezeable tube. I recommend this for the working person who doesn't have alot of time to apply make-up.
