I love the bed, but the bed parts are not labeled and if you don’t read ahead on the instructions before beginning it’s very easy to get the wrong pieces in the wrong places and have to go back and reassemble them. Some pieces have pre drilled holes, but look identical to others, and if you don’t flip them around it’s easy to get them confused or facing the wrong direction.

Beautiful bed, but I assembled it approximately 5 months ago and the frame has already cracked along one of the long edges where you would get in and out of bed.

Design 10/10: This black, canopy bed is great for someone looking for a sleek, modern bed design. It’s sleek, modern design commands the room; however, it doesn’t overpower the room. Assembly 7/10 Assembled with one person. Took about 2-3 hours due to a few restarts. Boards are not labeled with stickers, which I love. Always struggle removing them. Labeling boards with arrows near the numbers would be GREAT. This would ensure all boards are facing the correct way the first time. Up arrows and down arrows. Few misaligned drill holes and ill sized dowels. One extra of each hardware would be great. Quality 9/10: So far so sturdy! lol. FRAME HEAVY DUTY. GREAT QUALITY Slats quality questionable… $ Value: 9/10: It’s a little pricey without the discount; however, it’s worth the discounted price! Overall: 8.8 Overall ALMOST PERFECT! I would purchase again. Glad I made the purchase.

Beautiful color, holds up well so far. You definitely need more than one person to put this together. You’ll need power tools and a hammer as per the instructions. Can wobble around so be sure to get something to keep the canopy from swaying around. Unless you don’t mind! Otherwise, pretty good bed to buy when it’s heavily discounted!

This bed looks super in my room. My daughter assembled it and it wasn’t too difficult. The wood is sturdy, pretty and exactly what I wanted. It is very good quality! Just don’t lose any hardware as you’re putting it together. No extra pieces are provided.

It was OK. Some of the parts weren’t labeled properly and a couple of pieces weren’t drilled so one piece of wood split but overall it wasn’t a bad job.

Looks and feels great so far

So far this bed frame has held up well and looks quite sturdy. Assembly was quick and simple.

Love how it looks! However, there is a faux finish over the wood panels that I do not like. Also, you can see where two or more panels were put together to make one long one. Otherwise, nice!

Good quality, took about 3 hours to set up. Very happy with it.

This was not too bad to put together for me (a mom) and my 7 year old daughter as my helper. I made the bed over the course of one afternoon. It looks better than I expected - the wood is super smooth and modern looking. Heavy enough to feel sturdy and without the squeaking that other metal canopy beds might do. :). Very happy!

The frame is nice, aesthetically what I was expecting. However, beware that the "solid wood" included in the title is misleading at best. The vast majority of the frame actually appears to be MDF composite, which is not solid wood. Though if you look carefully at the description they are careful to state "solid wood AND MDF," that is not what one expects from something claimed to be "solid wood." At best the title of this piece is misleading.

Nice bed, well constructed, easy to put together, a little low to the ground

If you're looking for a canopy bed that has quality material, fairly easy assembly, and overall great look this is the bed for you. You can't go wrong with this purchase!

It is modern and I love it. Changed the entire look of the bedroom. Took 3 guys to assemble but once it got started, it got easier.

It’s very sturdy and cute. It took me 2 afternoons to put it together. Instructions were easy to follow. Some of the parts had scuffs marks and chips in the paint.

So where do I begin ? Bed frame came within a week. However I will say the box it gets shipped in is outrageous!! It’s over 6ft and insanely heavy. So unless you have a partner or an elevator, good luck getting it up to your apartment or anywhere for that matter. They should have placed them in smaller separate boxes. Instructions for assembly were easy. Not sure why the other reviews say otherwise? My partner and I are novice builders and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Assembly on the other hand… whoever is responsible for “pre-drilling” the holes flopped. The back and bottom of the bed frame are supposed to have pre drilled holes and they were not. We had to borrow a drill to pre drill the holes ourselves otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to put the screws in! So that was really frustrating and we got lucky that we knew someone with a drill so be aware that you may need one. The instructions say not to use a drill but we used one any way because 1. There weren’t any holes, and 2. It was WAY faster. Using a screw driver would have taken forever. The instructions also say you need a hammer… girl no you don’t. Screw driver is required and low key a drill. Other than that, everything was pretty smooth. We have had it for a week now and it’s very sturdy, no sounds. Some small inconveniences but it was worth the money! This was a steal.
