44" Anisten Ceiling Fan with Light Kit and Pull Chain (Includes LED Light Bulb) - Hunter Fan

We bought this fan and the warranty and after about 3 or 4 pulls on the White ornamental things at the bottom of the chain indicating fan/light came off one of them...as I said ORNAMENTAL because I guess you weren't supposed to PUll ON THEM OR THEY WOULD BREAK OFF. PLUS that the fan was extremely difficult to put up because of the small wiring box. I do not recommend purchasing Hunter Fans as they are not as reliable as they were years ago when Hunter were the best fans..now the fans are much louder and wobbly.

I had my own home repair business for 18 years and have installed a lot of fans. The Aniston is.....cheap. Fan blades are of cheap material and the light cover is plastic instead of glass. The most annoying issue is that there is no slot in the brace that holds it to the ceiling for the ball to seat into, so it wobbles when you pull either of the chains. The one positive is that it runs quietly. I don't recommend buying one again.

Disappointed honestly, the light shade is plastic, despite the owners manual referring to it as glass there are no rubber grommets for vibration isolation when affixing the blades to the metal brackets no balancing kit with the fan and there is slight play in the screw holes while affixing blades to the motor, therefore no way to get it perfectly balanced so it wobbles slightly on high. - according to the manual it's only concerning if there is "excessive" wobble. I prefer a new fan to have zero, personally. That's why I bought a Hunter. the white side of one of the blades came with a small defect, it's just a spot but I can't use the white side now because it always looks like there is a spec of dirt on the fan. Hunter has always been the best in the business if you ask me, but this fan seems very cheap. I'm highly disappointed I spend an hour installing it, then couldn't balance it. Considering a return for a higher end model. I didn't think I had to spend more with Hunter to get a premium product. Sort of leaves me with a bad taste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great light fan. I love the unique design, it looks like a more expensive light fixture than it really was. The blades are white on one side and wood on the other. The wood is light enough but doesn’t look cheap that we chose it for some lo variety in the room. We put this in our daughter’s room and it is perfect. The led lights are bright enough and still gives energy efficiency without distorting the look in the room. The fan is silent and the light cover is plastic instead of glass. It doesn’t look cheap, so it could be used in other rooms of the house, but definitely a perfect safety feature for a child’s room or playroom/family room for sure. It was easy to install with detailed instructions. It doesn’t say low profile, but it hangs close enough to the ceiling that it can comfortably be used in a room with a standard 8’ ceiling, which is what we did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed Hunter’s Aniston ceiling fan in our kitchen and I really like it. I knew I wanted a white fan with good lighting. This fixture is a stylish update and looks great. The white and metal finishes look modern and clean. It is a big improvement in the room and is very noticeable. I like the 44” size for the room as our kitchen is eat-in size but not overly large. The LED light is bright and illuminates the room really well. The motor operates quietly and the blades turn smoothly. The quality is very good, as you would expect from the Hunter brand. All the pieces are well made and blemish free. We have other Hunter light fixtures and ceiling fans and they are all very well made and long lasting and remain stylish over a long time. I install most of our light fixtures and the assembly and installation on this were fast and easy. This does come with good instructions that are easy to follow. I did have to have my husband help because I needed an extra pair of hands to hold the base in place at the ceiling. This comes well packaged and includes everything needed to install the fixture. Most of our family and close friends enter our house through the kitchen so I have gotten a lot of great feedback on this and tons of compliments. We really like this fixture a lot.
