The dome for the light was broken during delivery. I returned the fan due to it not being a true flush mount. It is a swivel base so the fan may wobble over time.

This is a very nice fan. My wife has always wanted white ceiling fans. I am painting our ceilings, since that hasn’t been done in about 20 years. Once each ceiling is painted I am installing these fans to replace the Hunter fans I installed about 35 years ago. Installation is easy. Wiring is easy. One warning though - put a towel or something over the fan housing when you attach the cowling to the ceiling bracket. I dropped a screw (twice) into the fan housing. It’s not difficult to retrieve the screw but it takes a few minutes. Overall I’m glad I bought this fan.

We love the fan, but it did not fit the bracket of the previous Hunter fan. So I had to put in a new box in the ceiling to fit the new bracket. So, it was more work and cost than should have been necessary

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally had a chance to get my Hunter 52" Swanson Bowl Fan out of the box and up in the air. From past experience, I was worried it would be difficult to install, but I was surprised by how few steps there were for installation. It took a little bit to follow/understand the directions but it was pretty easy once I figured it out. I like that there were two light bulbs included; however, there were not LED bulbs. The fan overall looks great and the fan fits perfectly with our color scheme. The gray, rustic color of the blades is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been needing to change out the smaller builder grade ceiling fan in my master bedroom for a bigger more appropriately sized one. I live in Texas and this unprecedented heat wave forced me to complete this DIY project sooner than expected. I’m very excited to use the Hunter 52" Swanson Bowl - Matte Black. The housing color is matte black. On one side of the blades the color is matte black and on the other side is light gray oak. This fan fits the aesthetic of my bedroom. It works well and is good quality. The size is better and pushes more air than my old smaller ceiling fan.

I end up leaving it on all the time because it's so quiet. I live in a very warm area and it really does help with the hvac bills.

Mounting bracket does not fit electrical box. Need to purchase adapters, was unable to complete installation because of this, even though it was to replace an older hunter fan with a superior mount.
