We also suggest letting the fiber bed airing out for a good day plus to allow it to naturally fluff up post the vigorous shaking. The measurement of the fiber bed is derived from the cut of the fabric, so upon placing on your bed you will see a couple inches gap between the mattress and the fiber bed. This is due to the item simply being puffed up and the vertical pull of the fabric from the sides. A fiber bed is a piece of bedding that you can't simply lay on and not expect to fluff everyday.
