42" Newsome Low Profile Ceiling Fan (Includes LED Light Bulb) - Hunter Fan

Great purchase. Exactly what i needed. Didn't hang too low and very quiet motor.

Bought this fan a week ago nothing I mean nothing at all is correct. From Hunter's own schematic drawings being almost 2" wrong. My advice do not use this company, you will most undoubtedly have issues. Spend a little more money for a better product, this is what had to do.

These fans are exactly what I wanted. Love the black on black to complete my decor. They move the right amount of air and the lights are BRIGHT! Very pleased with my purchase

We bought two of these fans and BOTH make a sounds every time the fan rotates. Really disappointed in these Hunter fans. I expected higher quality and quieter performance.

I loved the matte black finish. My husband was sold because of the name brand knowing it was a Hunter fan. It was an easy install and runs great. So it was an easy purchase for our family!

It adds a little something to the room and the lights do a good job. Additionally the fan piece works well. I am satisfied with it.

The installation instructions made it easy to install and we like that the light sockets are for a standard bulb. Nice fan and good looking. Wish it came with a remote.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 42 inch. white low profile fan by Newsome is a fantastic buy compared to much HIGHER END COMPETITORS made exactly the SAME WAY! I KNOW because I install them for people for side work. You shouldn't have to spend more than an hour for INSTALL if your a DIY TYPE or NOT ( EVEN LESS IF THE CEILING ALREADY HAS A LIGHT THERE OR ONE WIRED THERE FOR YOU ) I personally took under 25 min. but like I said I do it all the time. Please REMEMBER to SHUT OFF ALL POWER at your PANEL prior to STARTING INSTALL. This particular fan is not meant for outdoor porches UNLESS they are ENCLOSED ALL AROUND by GLASS WINDOWS & DOOR. It has 5 WHITE BLADES that are REVERSIBLE, which makes it NICE & CONVENIENT. So when you want to change up the look of your room maybe along with a new furniture set, a simple screw driver will do the trick in less than 15 minutes! This fan is very BASIC there's no REMOTE CONTROL which is a DOWNSIDE to it, ofcourse your light switch can control the lighting portion of it though the fans control, HIGH,MED & LOW will need some PULLING..haha! All in all this is a great option for homes & businesses as well. It looks great in most bedrooms, dens & offices too!

The picture showed black fan blades I was happy with that but when we got it I realized the blades were gray on the other side i was very excited. We put it up with the gray side showing and I absolutely love it. The light is very nice and just the right amount of light for us with the bulbs that came with it. The fan is very pretty and I am so pleased with it.

The Hudson Newsome whisper quiet, cooling, attractive ceiling fan is so great I bought a total of three for each bedroom in white, which blends into the ceiling. The LED lights give gentle illumination when we need it. The fans are definitely a vast improvement, are well-balanced and beautiful.

I just installed this today during the blizzard in the northeast! Great fan, incredible quality, construction, design and packaging. Looks great too.

This fan fits perfectly in my room with a lower ceiling and it is a charming addition featuring three stylish bright lights, warm colors and nicely curved shapes.

Great looking fan. We ordered 3. They were fairly easy to install...my husband and son got all 3 installed between lunch and dinner on a Sunday afternoon. They hug the ceiling, are completely silent on low speed which is where I keep them, and they all but disappear against our white ceiling. I really wanted inconspicuous ceiling fans and that's what I got.

This is a perfect man for my kitchen is very quiet and puts off plenty of light. Great quality.

I love the look/style and it works well. 180 watts of light is more than enough. The brushed nickel is beautiful and matches my other light fixtures perfectly. It runs very quietly as described.

Install was simple and precise. As soon as I turned it on I was blown away. The fan itself doesn't make a sound at all, while also being pretty powerful. It's the perfect flushmount fan for our 8ft ceilings. It came with two LED light bulbs, both 900 lumens. Also came with the option to not use the light fixture part. The pullchains are marked with fan blade and lightbulb icons, both being made of solid metal. I'll definitely be purchasing three more for other rooms in our home. Overall its a sturdy, quality ceiling fan.

Perfect fan for a smaller room. Looks great and gave our daughters room a modern upgrade. Easy to assemble and hang. Only downside is when using the fan you need 24-48 hours of running to get rid of motor smell from manufacturer.
