The gel texture is lightweight and fast-absorbing, making it perfect for daytime use under my makeup. It did keep my skin hydrated throughout the day without a heavy feel. It does have quality skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, like some of my other moisturizers, and despite its many positives, I feel compelled to share that it did cause me to have tiny white pimples within hours of use, each time I used it. The texture is similar to a serum and it dries out matte. Although it's great for the summer and most of the year, I didn't think it was hydrating enough for my dry skin during the winter months. I was hesitant because i have not used this brand before but i was pleasantly surprised at how little product i needed to achieve moisturized skin. Also, the scent was pleasant and not overwhelming. It had a cooling effect that i enjoyed and my makeup easily went over it. The packaging was nice and overall it was a great moisturizer that i will definitely purchase again.

It applies so nicely, lightweight and soaks in instead of sitting there on top of your skin for awhile. I think this would be best for summer months when you don't need as much moisturizing, I definitely recommend trying it. I find them way more hydrating for me over cream based. A little goes a long way, and I love that it doesn't take forever to soak into the skin. This stuff has helped my flakey nose so much it's ridiculous. If I had to complain about something it might be the smell, it's not crazy bad I just prefer things without any scent.
