Soft. Oh my gosh, soft. I ordered this online without seeing in person and crossed my fingers. The colors are neutral but cozy. The design is softened by the navy print that almost looks black online. I have two young kids and two goofy, large dogs so concealing some inevitable messes is a big theme in shopping for household items for me. Day two of owning this someone, not pointing any fingers, rang off with a nugget covered in barbecue sauce and dropped it, of course. Ha ha. Some folex and paper towel did the trick and the evidence of why I was ever stressed out disappeared. Upon opening and laying down there were two long, loose string on the fringe that made me nervous about coming undone but even after vacuuming with a brush roll and taking a month long of mild abuse nothing seems to indicate that I have anything to worry about. It laid flat on the shortest inner edge after about a week.

I have ordered this rug in 2x8, 6x9, 8x10, and now 9x12. Very disappointed in pattern/design change in the larger sizes. Note flower design is very prominent in the larger size where it is muted in the smaller size. Makes the 9x12 very southwestern. I love the 2x8 and 6x9.

I can’t figure out how they can sell the pictured rug and send something different? It’s too much of a hassle to return and the rug I received is similar enough that I don’t hate it, but the description even says traditional style and the rug I received has a much more boho/southwest vibe!

I purchased this carpet after purchasing one for 1000 that fell apart in under a year! I’m shocked at how much I love it especially for what I paid! I also purchased the runner and I’m just as happy with that! Don’t hesitate buy it! Pics are from me when I first laid it down so some creasing is still there.
