It’s a lot lower to the ground than I expected. We measured it and thought with the height of our mattress it would be at my hip level (I am 5”3’) however the bed frame plus our mattress only reach my knees. My husband is 6”1’ and he literally rolls out of bed and is on the ground. It’s good it gets the job done. Instructions were terrible to follow
