Q: What’s the difference between this one in the metallic red packaging and the regular red packaging? Did it replace the black packaging?

A: This one has Japanese style noodles, sauce & veggies. The red one is 2x the spice, the black one is normal amount of spice. There are other flavors and noodle styles as well that aren’t sold at target. Just read the front packaging and it’ll tell you straight up what it is.
submitted byArmy - 6 months agoA: The Yakisoba Buldak Ramen has a different flavor from the other two. The regular red packaging typically refers to the 2X Spicy Buldak Ramen, and the black packaging is for the Original Buldak Ramen.

Nice flavor with sauce. I do prefer the regular Samyang noodles but these are thinner. It’s pretty spicy. More than the carbonara and cheese ramen but definitely less than the 2x spicy.

These are now a new Buldak favorite. #1 is creamy carbonara. However, the yakisoba flavor is delicious. I added a few things to amp it up a bit, but the flavor is good on its own, and it's not overly spicy.

These are delicious. Pretty spicy. Closer to the spice level of the original Buldak in the black packaging to put in perspective. The flavor is very good and is similar to the jjajang flavor although the noodles are definitely different than any other Buldak I’ve had. They are thinner and can easily be over cooked into mush if you don’t watch the timing . I’d prefer the jjajang flavor over these as the jjajang are more flavorful and not so spicy but those are hard to come by so these will do if I have a craving and are available easily at target

These noodles are delicious! Very interesting, bold flavor, reminiscent of steak marinated in Worcestershire sauce. Subtly sweet and very spicy. Get yourself a bowl.

I like the noodles but they're not my favorite. I'm a huge fan of the buldak noodles and my favorite is the black bean,aka jjajang. These noodles were thinner than your normal buldak noodles. They have a nice heart to them but the overall flavor is pretty bland. They're not awful but not really great either. I wouldn't buy it again.
