This took about a century and a couple of eternities to assemble. It wasn't too complicated, it just took a lot of elbow grease. All the tools required come with the package, except for the Phillips' head screwdriver (have one.) There's even an allen-key-type ratched provided to make the whole ordeal less of a cancer inducing experience. The instructions are overall very well made and detailed, but the first two pages had misleading errors and I had to redo these sections. Everything else was well explained and presented however. Once you have assembled the contraption, you wind up with a very sturdy bed base with several interesting features. While the RGB lights (Which were a PAIN to setup right) have somewhat limited intensity and selection (I would have enjoyed a slower switching speed, personally) It makes for an interesting decor option and a low-light on demand when you need to. There are two USB slots and two standard electric wall jacks provided at the head of the bedpost, assuming you can plug the bed's power cord somewhere. The cable is of a good length however. It comes in a single, surprisingly small (albeit heavy) package. Among the other inconvenience to this otherwise excellent bed, are the 'feet' which are right to the edge of the bed and I've unhappily smashed my toes on them several times already. Still, they provide good stability and the bed doesn't creak or groan at all. The other inconvenience (minor) is that the slats are very narrow and they will dig into a softer foam mattress over time. Unless you add a sheet of wood or cardboard for support between the slats and the mattress. Still, overall, for the price, this is a good quality bed with several interesting features that will last a very long time. One person found this helpful

It is a pain in the butt to assemble. and I'm not really fond of putting together furniture.. The bed itself is easy to put together, it's the bloody headboard. Man, that took an hour alone. it is super sturdy and very pretty. The drawers are more for light weight items. They are those cloth storage bins.

When I first started putting the bed together, I truly didn't think it was going to be very sturdy. When I finished putting it together, I decided this bed is probably the sturdiest bed that I've ever had! I put this bed completely together by myself. I dont have a lot of experience putting things together so it probably took me a little longer than most. I also had two toddlers who wanted to help and I had to stop to help them. I'd say it took me about 3-4 hours but I had to stop a lot! It definitely could be put together in 1-2 hours! I've been wanting a bed with the bookcase headboard for a long time bc I had one when I was younger and I loved it. This one did not disappoint at all!! The drawers are fabric but they are pretty decent too! You could put light clothing in them or see them as your ""junk"" drawers! I have a mixture of things in them already. The LED lights are neat although I didn't think to turn them on at bedtime. I love that I can decorate the headboard and have room under the bed for storage AND have storage in the headboard. I gave this 4 stars and 10/10 recommend this frame!! I don't give a lot of items 5 stars but I truly don't have any complaints. We've slept on it one night so far. If anything changes, I'll be sure to update this. I don't see aything happening to change my review though!
