I was very excited to try this when I saw it in the store. I'm not sure why "New Orleans Style" is part of the name. I thought this was very bland and I could've done just as well by adding my own seasonings to some cornmeal like I usually do.

We just used this fish-fri mix to pan fry some fish, and it came out great. We loved the flavor (not having to season) and it made a thin, crisp coating that didn't fall off. Will try on shrimp next time.

The best. great flavor. Very thin coverage of the fish; so that its truly a seasoning with a dusting of corn flour; not a breading.
