First off, it smells SO good and the scent lasts for quite a few hours after styling hair. It also makes my hair feel so soft and smooth. Truly my new found favorite. Gifted by Eva NYC in exchange for my honest review. I've used this 3x now and I've noticed it reduces my frizz and adds softness compared to other shampoos I've tried. However, when my hair was tangled after a workout, it felt like the shampoo made it worse. I definitely plan to keep using it but will probably switch shampoos after heavy workouts.

I have always struggled with finding shampoos and conditioners (hair products in general) that would be good for my curly, frizzy, naturally dry hair. I have tried literally hundreds of different products to help satisfy these problems. I have found a few products that work, but since the Ritual Repair Shampoo by Eva NYC is specifically for damage repair, I knew that this product was one that I should try. I've been using this product for a week straight now, and I have seen many good things come from using this product. It has definitely made my hair feel stronger, less damaged, overall leading to less frizz. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has damaged hair. I really like this shampoo! It's a nice and gentle lather, while being creamy and hydrating. It had a good scent which wasn't too overpowering, and I like that the bottles are really unique and vibrant. They look so nice in my shower.

Unlike other reviewers I didn't receive this free, I paid for it. But like another reviewer this shampoo (+ conditioner + leave-in) left my hair dry and tangled, also full of static. My hair is extremely fine, some of the strands are so fine they're almost invisible and can barely be felt when rolled between the thumb and index finger. Naturally, my hair breaks easily. I was hoping this haircare line would help with that. I don't know if it will or not because I can't stand the smell. It's not a strong smell but it's bad and it lingers. My hair needs strengthening AND moisture. This line gave it no moisture at all. I'll be mixing this shampoo with my previous shampoo until it's used up and won't buy it again.

i actually really like this! i love amika (normcore) but i was looking for a more affordable alternative. i'd say this passes the test! i have thin hair that gets oily on the roots so i have to wash every day - this cleans well enough and also isn't too heavy. i'd say the amika is a bit more moisturizing which is why i gave 4 stars instead of 5. i also LOVE this packaging.

This shampoo was gifted by evanyc in exchange for my honest review. I have bleached platinum hair, and I found this shampoo to be very gentle and not stripping. My hair is on the dryer side and I feel like this has helped add some badly needed moisture back.
