I love this rug because it’s not shaggy/just right pile and it’s a pretty neutral color that’s got light brown. I waited for it to go on sale at $183 so I’m happy with the price and quality mostly for this size of a rug. However, I deducted a star because it’s not quite fully 9 x 12/the dimensions are off. It was 8.8 feet by 9.2 feet. Overall, I really like it!

Have the 8x10 and really liked it. I purchased the 5x7 and 6 months in still will not lay flat. I’ve done months of putting on weight, trying to steam etc. I do not think it will ever be flat. (It is on a great Pottery Barn felt pad & I’ve added corner pieces to keep corners down - nothing worked)

Size 10 x 14. Quality seems nice - more gray than ivory. The only issue is that the company shipped the rug all folded up - folded into thirds then in thirds again. It won’t lay flat and I’m afraid someone is going to trip. It’s going to take weeks for the creases to relax. If Nuloom truly has “expertise in producing high quality floor coverings”, then they should know better that by folding a rug the backing can be damaged. A large rug should never be folded only rolled! Hopefully it lasts us a while!

Positives… Amazing design. Beautiful! We have gotten compliments and they’re so soft and luxurious with the rug pad. Goes well with my decor. Negatives… Lord help the smell. The worst off gassing I have had with any rugs purchased. Gave me pounding headaches for a few days until I dragged them outside. 2 days on my patio, 2 days in my driveway, 2 days in the garage where I sprinkled baking soda and let it sit before vacuuming and bringing inside. Insane I had to do this process in order to have them inside

I ordered the 9x12 rug in light grey and it arrived folded, as other reviewers mentioned. I opened it and spread it out in my living room and the chemical smell was the worst of any rug I have ever had before. The smell was so bad it made me dizzy, nauseous and gave me a headache. I was going to immediately package it back up and return it, but due to our family's schedule I didn't have time, so it sat in my living room for the next few days. After about 3 days of offgassing the smell finally went away. However I still have misgivings about this rug. It can't be healthy to have this in my house. Even though the smell is gone, I wonder if it is still releasing toxins in my house. I would not recommend this rug if you have small children who play on the floor and would be in direct contact with this rug. I am still considering returning, but I do like the neutral colors and I got it on sale for a good price. I think the design is beautiful and what I was looking for. It does not shed at all. This is a very thin rug, more like a doormat, thickness-wise. It is an okay solution for now for my living room but I will probably invest in something nicer in the future. If you get this rug, it would be ideal to keep it in a garage for a few days to air it out.
