A: Hello Meg, this specific fan is designed to be wired to a single on/off toggle switch and then operated with the pull chains. Please refer to page 4 for wiring instructions. However, my husband and father-in-law were stalled it and remarked how difficult it was because the instructions were not clear. It mentioned pieces that were not there. Luckily, it all worked out, but they need to include better instructions.

This fan makes a loud beeping noise any time you turn the light or fan on which is nowhere to be found in the description. Hunter says this is “normal” but it isn’t - obviously. So before you pay an electrician to hang 3 of these in your house only to find out they make this obnoxious noise, save your money and don’t buy them.

Hello, the beeping noise is normal for this fan. Its to let the user know that the command has been received by the fan. You can turn the beeping noise off, please refer to page 9 of the manual for further assistance. ~Stacy

I only gave it 4 stars because there is a beep each time you change the fan speed, kind of annoying. Also, it didn’t come with a remote. It does come with reversible blades - white and a light natural wood color.
