We wanted stainless not only for the look, but the durability and ease of cleaning. Does it scratch, yes. Is it still a good sink, oh yeah. A kitchen is meant to be a place where work gets done! We have used this sink and not treated it lightly and it has held up great. Sure there are small scratches here and there, but it is a solid sink. We love the accessories we got with it and the fact that the sink has sound deadening material to keep sound levels down. This was a great purchase.
