This bunkie board is made with a sturdy steel frame and slats that will provide the support needed to help your mattress last longer. The bunkie board adds support to bunk beds and daybeds and can also work as a box spring or slat replacement for recessed sit-in platform beds. Full, Queen and King sizes include a line of noise-free foam padding between the center bar and slats. All sizes include non-slip tape on the wooden slats for stability that prevents your mattress from sliding. Enjoy quick and easy assembly with slats that firmly lock into the slots.

Easy to put together, easy to move around. I have a loft bed, so this is a game changer. The metal frame does slide along the base more than the mattress slides over the frame.

Mellow has made some pretty great products in recent years and they're quality.

We are trying to assemble this bunk as easy as possible. So using the Bunkie Board works great. Easy set up and quick assembly. Love it.

It's metal and it fits perfectly. I'm not worried about it snapping or weight. It holds the mattress up to a perfect height and the bed also feels as it should. I highly recommend.
