After reading a review that this item was chipping, I assumed it's pretty fragile. I crossed my fingers that Target would pacakge it well so that it wouldn't be damaged in the shipping process. However, when I finally received the item and lifted the box off my doorstep, I heard loose pieces and I knew there was trouble. Upon opening the box, they didn't wrap the item at all--literally just threw it in the box with my other items. Thankfully although many little pieces chipped off, it already has kind of a ragged/rough edge look, so it honestly didnt matter much. Item is very cute and well priced. Just be aware that it is pretty fragile/prone to chipping. Cute little decor piece without breaking the bank.

I got this mainly for my annual Samhain celebration feast, but I know we will be using it regularly in our house when we do little cheese boards and what not. You don't need to wait for a special event or party to make a cheese or charcuterie board, make one just because you felt like it.
