Q: we just bought service for 8 in the Navy Blue. They are just lovely, but they SCRATCH! It's not like we use super sharp knives on them, but cutting meat with a dinner knife leaves scratches. HELP!

It may be that the 'knives' have simply left marks on the plates, in which case you'd simply need to remove the pesky marks with something like baking soda. Plates probably would’ve been nice. I had to order online as my store is out of stock. They were thrown in a box with ZERO packaging and arrived shattered. Box also was not tapped well and some shards were falling out as I brought the box inside. If they don’t have store availability don’t bother ordering.

I love the solid black (have the matching bowls and mugs too). They're a good size, sturdy, dishwasher and microwave safe. Being stoneware I was concerned about that little bit on the bottom of the plate that's not painted and can tend to scratch the top of other plates when you stack them but that 'unfinished' bit was super smooth and no concern at all. I love Corelle but I wanted something I good work with and jazz up. And how can you go wrong for $3 a plate??? These bowls were $2 and the mugs were about $4. Very sturdy but usable!

Item arrived in a box that was clearly retaped. 8" of headspace in the box allowed for the loosely packed china to move about. All 12 plates were damaged. Hopefully I can return to my local Target, as the on-line return/damage report option returns a "Sorry. We are unable to process your request."

great plate, i love the simple design & it’s a good quality. im just taking away one star not for the product but for the shipping. i ordered multiple of these plates & bowls of the same brand/material, it came all in the same box without any bubble wrap! one of the plates came broken so i had to order a replacement, i was surprised they didn’t come all broken since they are ceramic. anyways i love the plates! lol

Wish I could give separate ratings for the product vs shipping. Like the high gloss glaze and hope they stand up to daily use. I appreciate the use of biodegradable packaging materials, but one of four plates arrived broken. But can you beat the price?

It says microwave safe but it split in half while in the microwave. It was in there for 1 minute to heat up some veggie bacon and suddenly there was a loud noise and the plate had split itself in half! I've only had it since May 2022. There were no visible defects and I don't understand why it broke. Very scary and also disappointing.

Great basic plate at a great price - I bought 20 for a party. They are plain, simple and perfect for a low cost plate for occasional use like entertaining. Slightly chunkier than I’d wish for but the price was amazing for a large number so no complaints!

I love these plates, they are heavy and fit a lot, and we were looking for something that can go in the microwave because almost everything decently priced is melamine these days, so I was happy to get actual dishes for a great price that look elegant and do all we need them to do! *I wish people who package things for shipping were more mindful about stickers! Wrapping them in paper but putting a giant piece of target tape around the plate itself is tedious to get off.
