Saw this one advertised and it is 16 inches, so I ordered it-PERFECT! It slips on and zips up, it doesn’t wad up under the sheets, it is exactly what I wanted, and it’s waterproof but doesn’t sound or feel like plastic.

I wanted something to cover them entirely instead of just the top and sides. The mattress encasements fit with room to spare if the mattresses were higher than 8” or if you had a mattress pad. I have Woolrich and they are too short for the fitted sheet and the flat sheet. I don't know what other brand I have but I have the same problem trying to get them to fit on the bed. These fit perfectly. I love them and I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for a nice flannel sheets.
