Q: what type of rod/hooks would you need to hang these curtains on? Are they pleated?

A: Hi Janet! Thanks so much for reaching out. The BOKSER HOME Curtains can be hung in a variety of ways! Using only a rod, there is pocket to completely conceal the rod and there are back tabs to create a pleated look. You can also opt to use clip hooks to hang the curtain. These curtains do not have any folded or stitched pleats, but it is easy to create the look depending on the hanging method you choose. Q: What percent shrinkage should I expect? Should I get a longer length to anticipate shrinkage in the washer and dryer?

Because they are Dry Clean Only, we do not anticipate shrinkage when they are cared for as recommended. Using a washer or dryer could result in unexpected shrinkage or damage to the fabric or lining, so we advise dry cleaning to maintain the size, shape, and quality of the curtains. The look and feel are high quality, but the length is inconsistent. The cotton liner in one curtain in the first package was a solid three inches longer in the middle than the linen part in front of it. The two curtains in the second package were different lengths. If you plan to put furniture in front of the curtains or have them drag the ground by 2-3 inches, then these would be great. However, if you want them to kiss the ground and the bottom won’t be obscured by furniture, you will be disappointed.

Absolutely thrilled with my curtains! The Linen and the cotton liner makes them feel heavy and substantial. And it makes it dark enough for privacy. (our window faces a park) Visually it’s a good balance, allowing just the right amount of light in. It came with both rod pockets and back tabs so easy install. It also comes with three length options which I wasn’t expecting and was great since we found one that lined perfectly. neutral color blended seamlessly with our light grey kitchen. And the fact that they're machine washable. Coudlnt be happier.
