Q: If i were to want to paint it a different color, is the surface paintable, and if so, what type of paint? Latex? oil based? or? thanks

A: Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. When it comes to painting our vinyl products we don't recommend it because we have added a special UV coating on our products that helps prevent warping, discoloration and/or cracking of the vinyl. This UV coating keeps our products looking great year after year as well as keeping them easy to clean and care for. Painting your product will void the warranty on your kit and over time the addition of this paint could shorten the lifespan of the product. That being said, if you do decide you would still like to paint your kit you can use a paint product called Krylon Fusion, it's a spray paint designed to cover plastic and vinyl and will work well for you. A: The Nantucket Legacy arbor measures 52" wide and 20" deep inside post to inside post. This arbor is also covered by our 20 year manufacturer's warranty and you'll never have to paint it or stain it.
