10ct Reusable Bamboo Straws Beige - Spritz™

They have an odd chemical smell to them. I wouldn’t recomend.

These didn’t work out for me as well as I’d hoped. Switching out everything in my life to more eco friendly reusable products has been a slow process and I’m always down to try something that’s categorized as such. I notice a chemical smell with them as many others have mentioned. There is indeed a resin that’s easily removed with the pipe cleaner contained in the package. These are the perfect diameter for thick fruity smoothies. They will stain and that’s the natural effect of berries and herbs on bamboo. Nothing to be alarmed about there. I did have one split in half in the process of washing it not to long after purchasing. Packaging is minimal thin plastic. Wish Tucson had a zero packaging store - anyway give ‘em a try they’re better than throw aways.

The taste of these is so bad, my daughter did not want to use them. I washed them and scrubbed too, and the taste did not go away.

They work in the beginning but begin to twist and turn if they are left wet.

Like the other reviews, these straws smell like some sort of chemical. It’s awful.

They smell/taste like poison? no matter how many times i clean them

They are super cute but the smell and taste it leaves it’s like a bleach taste/smell. I tried soaking them in hot water and soap but it hasn’t gone away

The smell doesn’t go away. It’s horrible I thought they would be better than the metal Straws. Although I may just have to find another alternative.

Why do they smell so bad? I’ve washed the straws over 5 times and the smell still won’t go away
