Q: Are these swivel hangers? In otherwords, can I turn the metal hook around?

A: Yes, you can swivel the metal hook around. I just bought some and these are better than most hangers of this type... IMO
submitted byLamoismynamo - 2 years agoA: They are not intended for swiveling the hook. You can do it but it loosens the hook and will at some point break off. The more often one swivels the hook, the sooner it will break off.

I was surprised to find these at target. I really like that the hanger part is black too. I plan to replace more of the hangers in my closet with these. The clothes do not fall off easily because the velvet holds the clothes on.

I am beyond upset with my purchase of these hangers. I bought around 200 of these hangers for my closet because I’m redoing it. So they were all purchased at once. Well, needless to say the black dye ruined several of my white dress shirts and two pairs of my white dress pants. I actually almost cried. I had laid the black hangers on my white comforter while organizing my closet and the dye is all over it as well. I’m just so upset:( I’ll be returning them tomorrow.
