Description
Balloon Time helium balloon tanks are ready to use straight out of the box, making it quick and easy to inflate balloons for any type of celebration – anytime, anywhere. Helium tanks are ideal for inflating latex or foil balloons for birthday parties, receptions, graduations, open houses, school or office events and so much more. Make bouquets, arches or other décor for your event using the included colorful latex balloons, or use the helium tank to inflate letter balloons, number balloons, themed or other specialty balloons (sold separately). Balloon Time helium tanks are convenient to keep on hand for celebrating at a moment’s notice. Easy to Use: Twist open the green valve counterclockwise four full turns, slide a balloon onto the black nozzle and press nozzle down to start helium flow to fill the balloon. Altitude, temperature and humidity may affect balloon float time. When done, twist the green valve closed to store leftover helium for future events. Tank is a non-refillable helium tank and can be recycled when empty. For best results: Inflate balloons immediately before event; average float time is 5-7 hours.

submitted byKP - 8 years agoA: I followed directions I found on YouTube which showed me how to use a screwdriver and hammer to open the hole at the top of the tank to release all of the helium entirely. Then you use a permanent marker to circle the opened hole and write "empty" next to it and then I just put it in my regular recycle bins which get picked up bi-weekly.

A: Pressurized 14.9 cu ft but in a balloon up to 27 cu ft that could be 27 11 or 12" balloons same goes for 18" foil balloons.

A: Hello and thank you for your question. You should be fine with 1 Jumbo Helium Tank for your 18 latex + 4 foil balloons, but it will be close. If you want a safety cushion (especially if you overfill a few balloons), you might consider getting 2 tanks just in case.

Balloon Time Tank Capacity: A standard Balloon Time 9.5 cu ft tank fills about: 3 to 4 mylar balloons (40-inch) 1 to 2 latex balloons (40-inch) How Many Tanks Do You Need? If using mylar balloons: 2 tanks (9.5 cu ft each) should be enough. If using latex balloons: You may need 3 to 4 tanks (9.5 cu ft each), depending on how full you inflate them.

Complete waste of money. I filled 1 foil and 1 latex balloon up. Both immediately fell to the floor. Does not do what it claims. Make life easier on yourself and just have your balloons filled at a dollar or grocery store.

Lots of helium that inflated GIANT ballons, one way over 5ft tall. They have stayed firmly inflated for more than a week! Just use foil balloons!

We love using this because it's so convenient to inflate our own balloons for special occasions! It makes everything feel extra festive. Honestly, it’s hard to give helium a bad review – the only downside is that it can be a bit pricey. But overall, we often turn to this option for our celebrations!

Got this knowing it probably wouldn't blow up as many balloons as stated so didn't have high expectations there but did expect the balloons to actually float. I bought mylar balloons as they are supposed to be better for keeing the helium in, instructions say you will get less air time with latex. The balloons only floated about a foot off the ground. These were to go ouside a memorial to welcome people but we ended up calling them the sad balloons as they just bounced near the floor, we tied them to a wall and they still looked sad.

Literally do not waste your time or money. Go to Michael’s craft store and pay to have balloons filled there- it’s CHEAPER. This thing is a joke, it takes pliers to even get the valve turned at first, and then it inflates a balloon for about 2 hours before it’s already on the floor.

Bought to inflate balloons for a birthday party and all of the balloons were sagging and dropping to the floor within 3 hours of inflating. The balloons were inside so there wasn't any temperature change to blame. Do not buy this!

This was a great option! I was hesitant to purchase this based on the other reviews but I worked well. Regular latex balloons stayed floating for 10 hours and the foil balloons are still up over 24 hours later.

Alone, this helium isn’t great due to it being a mix. I only use with Hi-float- just a tiny pump inside each latex balloon- and they lasted 3 weeks for us. Best to test it out a day or 2 before the day of your event.

The tank warns that they last about 7 hrs so DON'T blow balloons up ahead of time. Blew them up at 11am for a 1pm party. They started falling at 5pm and the next morning all 40 balloons were on the floor! Party City balloons would last at least 3 days. I miss Party City! Will NEVER buy another tank. Complete waste of money!

Did not float for long, some didn’t float at all. I wanted a tank that would do as much as it listed and it did about half. I should’ve just went to party city. Would’ve been cheaper and they all would’ve floated. Such a BAD purchase do not buy!!!! Run to party city and let them inflate your balloons!!
