A: Hello arliesmith, the 12" is the height of the frame from floor to frame. If you have a 10" mattress, we recommend checking the different frame sizes to see what will fit the mattress size (Full, Twin, Queen, and King)

Q: Can a headboard be attached?

A: The bed is designed without pre-drilled holes for headboard attachment. Unfortunately, this means that a headboard cannot be directly attached to the bed frame. However, we recommend using a wall-mounted headboard for this type of bed. Wall-mounted headboards are a great option as they can be securely fastened to the wall behind the bed, providing the look and functionality of a headboard without the need for attachment to the bed frame itself.

My 17 year old daughter put this together for me. It's solid. I thought it would be crap since it's so cheap. For reference I'm 230 pounds and my mattress is 92 pounds. The only downside is there's no cork or rubber on leg bottoms. And my floors are genuine wood.

My husband and I put this bed together very quickly. It was easy and the directions were great. The frame is pretty and seems very durable. I will say this was only a full size frame but the box it was shipped in was very heavy. It definitely took 2 of us to move it from our delivery room. We will only use this bedframe in our guest room. After putting it together we layed on it and it seemed very nice! No squeeks like our prior boxspring and frame!

Looks great on the outside and has held up but not at the cost of completely damaging my floor. The middle legs are made of metal, one broke off and their feet wore off, not before digging into our wood floors. A real disappointment. I will give it a 3 rather than 1 because the slats have held up despite seeming breakable in thickness.

I ordered this bed frame to accommodate a new mattress we had ordered. The frame arrived in a timely manner and was packaged in such a way as to insure the contents safe, undamaged delivery. All parts and hardware were included along with very handy and easy to use ratchet allen wrench for assembly. Assembly was a straight forward process with only a minimum of puzzling out how to arrange the legs properly. Once assembled this frame is very sturdy and it looks great. We are completely satisfied with the workmanship, design and engineering of Wen Deluxe Wood Platform Bed Frame and we have no reservations recommending this frame to others.

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It shipped quickly, arrived perfectly packaged and was a breeze to put together by myself. It’s very sturdy and well designed and definitely looks more expensive than it was. Whoever thought of securing the slats with Velcro deserves a bonus! I bought this one for the spare bedroom. Next I will buy one for my bedroom.

I really never review stuff - especially put it together yourself furniture. I expect normally for it to be a long annoying process with a tiny Alan key. Building this bed was seriously the easiest thing ever. The design is great, they give you an Alan key socket wrench, and it’s insanely sturdy. The video to put it together is literally only one minute. All products that you have to build yourself should model after Zinus

This Zinus bedframe was exactly what we were looking for. Simple and functional. The frame arrived very well packaged. Assembling was super easy and straight forward. We were super impressed at how well all the pieces fit together. This is typically a challenge with mail ordered furniture but not with this brand. Zinus had all the pieces cut exactly correct. Everything fit together perfectly. The bed frame is very sturdy and solid feeling. No shifting or rocking whatso ever. Our queen foam mattress fit perfectly with just enough room for the bedding to hand correctly. Overall, super impressed with this frame and Zinus's attention to detail for a well made product!!
