12pc Porcelain Embossed Contempo Dinnerware Set - Tabletops Gallery: Solid Ivory Dishware, Service for 4, Dishwasher-Safe

Let me start by saying I really like this design after looking at a lot of others, so that's why I've put the effort into building a complete set of 12 placessetting. It took 7 (!!) sets to make 3 sets (place settings for 12 total). I had to go through each box and pick the best ones. Almost every piece - even a lot of the ones I kept - has flaws: black specs glazed into the plate, bubbles, no glazing on the edges, very warped shape (so they wouldn't stack), etc. It was a frustrating experience and like I said, not one I would have gone through if I hadn't been desperate to find a set I liked. Do companies not care about quality any more?? The black specs look like food stuck on the plate, so I can only image this product has a high return rate. What a waste of time and money for the company, store and customer. Originally I tought I'd find 12 perfect pieces of each, but had to lower my standards and keep even those pieces with minor flaws or I would have never gotten to 12 placesettings! Even cheaper sets shouldn't have the number of problems these had.

They are really pretty, but they don’t seem durable. Super lightweight. One of the bowls arrived broken.

Beautiful dishes and great color for many different decor looks. Slightly off white, which I love!! some small glazing issues but company sending replacements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the white color of this set. It is more of a creamy white. The bowls are perfect size for cereal or even a bowl of ice cream. The texture on them is nice it has small ridges. I have used them a few times in the microwave and they haven't gotten too hot even though they do have a warning. The plates are nice they are not too heavy or too late I feel that these are a quality set that will probably last a few years.

It is a very neutral set so it can be used for everyday dinners or it can be dressed up for special occasion dinners. They are very high quality pieces and heavy duty. They are easy to clean and dry fast without spots. This set will last me for many holidays and many years to come. I will definitely recommend this dinnerware set to all my friends and family.

I love that each piece is fired at high temperatures to maximize the strength of the porcelain, making it more durable and resistant to cracks, stains, or scratches. The white color is very modern and looks so nice. I like that they do not stain no matter what is put on them. I really love the bowls, salad and dinner plates. They are plain white so they match any decor and I'm always glad these wash right up and are easily tucked into my cabinet for storage until the next meal. They are a glossy finish and really gleam when clean! Recommend!

The bowls, while not tall, are wide and round holding a good amount of soup or whatever else you may enjoy. The plates have a rounded lip so any saucy dishes you don’t have to worry about spilling which is a bonus! Over all a beautiful set that functions perfectly.

It is microwave and dishwasher safe. I can write that because I tried both. I plan on buying additional settings with serving dishes and platters to match the dinnerware. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened the box of Tabletops Monroe 12 Piece Dinnerware Set Stoneware in Cream, Service for 4, I was excited to try the great-looking set of dishes. However, as I continued to unwrap each piece, I started noticing problems with several of the dishes. Unfortunately, at least 2 of the salad plates and at least 1 of the dinner plates had very noticeable flaws. When a person looks at a dish, they expect it to be smooth. However, multiple plates had what looked likes very small round pieces of something underneath the glaze and/or a slight circle indentation. Yes, they are small but are definitely noticeable and can also be felt. One of the plates had 6 of these areas on it. I imagine as I wash the plates, I will think that the pieces underneath are something to be scraped off, meaning the areas will likely eventually break off and look even worse. I am attaching pictures and hopefully you can see where the reflection hits the plate what I am talking about. The more noticeable aspect of the flaws might be the way the pieces can be felt. I hope the company's quality control improves bc the dishes look elegant and very pretty besides the flaws. One last comment is that most of the sets I have seen include cups or mugs, so it also would have made better sense to include matching cups to make it look like a complete set. Hopefully people ordering realize that so they know what to expect. In summary, I can't recommend this set until the company ensures the flaws have been eliminated.

I was never really a big fan in just plain white dishes but these ones are actually really nice and the color stands out alot and very shiny. This set is made very nice and elegant. The plates are a perfect size and the bowl are really awesome. I also like that the dishes can be used in the microwave if needed. This is a perfect set for any occasion or everyday use. I would definitely recommend this set of dishes.

The white is a perfect off white, not stark white but not a yellowy white. The rim of the dishes have a dotted texture! Simple yet so cute!
