12pc Stoneware Avesta Dinnerware Set - Threshold™

I was in search of new kitchenware when I threw all my plastic ones away. This set is so modern and a perfect addition to my kitchen.

Purchased 4/5/25, today is 4/7/25 and a plate has already chipped all the way through. We were replacing a set of 24yr old plates and barely made it 24hrs!!!

Great dishes for the price. We ordered the gray dishes and after a wash they still look great. Hopefully they live up for long-term and look luxurious for the price.

After 3 weeks 2 plates and a bowl chipped already!! Really sorry I bought these.

Bought the grey set back in 2021 and they have held up beautifully- no scratching & I feel much safer microwaving these rather than something plastic! Only con is the large plates fit awkwardly in our dishwasher but it’s so minor I barely notice

My everyday dishware was so old it was not microwave safe. Time to update!

Used this once and placed the dish in the microwave. Immediately the plate cracked and burst in my microwave. Leading to shrapnel all over my microwave destroying it. I was lucky no one was injured.

These are beautiful when you first buy them. Over time they scratch pretty bad. They’re heavy and very durable. I purchased these for the first time about 2-3 years ago and only 1 plate has a small chip.

Color is wrong. These are not black, they’re dark green

I was expecting black not green! I had to check the website as I thought for sure the Target rep bought the wrong dishes to my car. I haven’t used them so can’t speak to the quality yet.

Beautiful, simple timeless tableware. A great value for the quality and weight and much nicer for the upcoming holidays than disposable plates.

One of the plates arrived broken, not the best packaging.

I did not receive the coffee cups. I didn’t know until after I seen this review.

I needed to replace our plates and was stuck between this and another set but I’m glad I got these I love the bowls and the depth. The design is simple but cute. The quality is good although one came with a crack. I just bought another one since they had some individual ones.

Loved these as a gift but the same thing happened as the Project 62 small plates where they explode in the microwave. Will not be buying plates again from Target!

I bought the Avesta Dinnerware set in white and absolutely love it! It’s exactly what I was looking for. The plates are sturdy not cheap looking and the bowls are nice and deep! I’ve gone through two other sets from different brands and they got all scratched up with regular utensil use. These were wayyy cheaper and so much sturdier and don’t scratch! They’re also dishwasher safe which is a must. Another thing I liked is that you can buy extra pieces by themselves. I bought 2 more of each for when my parents visit. My local target sells the pasta bowls individually so I snatched those up too. You just can’t beat the price and quality. Highly recommend!

Beautiful but 3/4th of dishes arrived shattered in their packaging. Super disappointed!

I was excited to have a new set of black dishes, but these supposed black dishes are a dark green! The shape is nice but not the color. I noticed it’s happened to other people as well. I thought I had gotten a wrong batch, but seems like all their blacks are not black.

I didn’t open these plates until a few weeks ago cause I moved to a new place and all the large plates are broken. Half the bowls are also broken. Haven’t had time to return.
