I use this more as a decorative plate and it works great. The wood is smooth and it's very thick so you can tell it's good quality. I think it can go well with many different seasonal styles.

Beautiful platter but the one I received was wobbly. It tilts to both sides. I love how it looks but I have to put a little cushion on the bottom to even it out.

I really love this wooden plate. I knocked off a star because it is rather expensive at $20 for a plate and one side had some wood grain texturing to it that wasn't present anywhere else. BUT overall the quality is nice & the matte black finish is just perfect. it has just enough of a sheen to it for my taste. it feels heavy & sturdy. I will say that I can't imagine serving actual food on it, but for a center piece on my dining table, it works great
