Q: what is the difference between porcelain and stoneware dishes , which is better for everyday use ?
A: The stoneware scratch easily. The stoneware has a slight yellow tone to the white vs more blue on the porcelain white dishes.

Q: How long before the dishes scratch from normal use
A: Kat- We have tried to improve the glaze to flatware marking. However, if you ever do see flatware markings on the plate, you can use Barkeepers Friend to remove the markings. Hope that helps! - Brea
