Q: How is the gold trim applied. Will it wash off eventually?

A: The trim is hand painted on . It will eventually wash off if harsh chemicals are used to wash the plates.

A: All matte dinnerware will have scuffs and scratches form the use of metal flatware.

A: Hi Nikki. Yes, you are correct. All pieces are white with gold trim except for the smaller salad plates, those are black with gold trim.

I ordered 3 sets, 12 place settings. It was well packaged, but one mug was broken upon arrival. Hoping to get help from the customer service team soon. The dishes are just as they appear in the images. A bit chunky and modern. We have used in the microwave and no issues. Same for dishwasher. They appear fancy but also seem durable enough to use daily, as we intend to do.

I ordered the 16 piece dinnerware set and i'm very happy with my decision. The plates and bowls are super stylish and looks great on the dining table.
