I actually like the lamp. I’m giving it 4 stars because the first and second I ordered have flaws where you put the light bulb. It doesn’t mess up the bulb being able to be screwed in, but looks like it’s possible that the mold was messed up. See pic. It’s easy to assemble; the shade comes upside down for packaging. It fits well in the space I want it to go and other than the flaw it’s good for the cost.

Good looking lamp for a great price. It is larger that I thought, and the legs are brown as someone mentioned. FYI, The person who said that the bulb sticks out the top just didn't assemble the lamp correctly, all he had to do is turn the shade over.

Firstly, the metal isn’t black, it’s brown. Secondly and most importantly, the difference in height between the very top of the shade and where you screw in the bulb is all of 2 inches. I’m convinced the lighted photo of this product is photoshopped because what bulb on earth is less than 2 inches tall and wouldn’t show above the shade? Returning this tomorrow, very disappointed.
