Q: How are the legs attached? Could they be shortened and still attach to the top? I would like to use this for a coffee table and it's 4" too high.

Not so easy to assemble

This is not so easy to assemble with only the hex wrench provided. You really need a drill. There are 2 bolts for each leg. One is fairly easy, except that there is no room to turn the wrench completely around and you have to keep removing and reinserting the wrench. The other bolt is impossible without a drill because you can't get under the glued-in wooden bracing to move your hand around. A drill solves that problem. I didn't have one and had to wait for help.

Nicely made and evenly stained. Legs are all the same length, no wobble. Super buy!
Only tiny issue is that the screws closest to the table top are difficult to tighten completely due to the drawer support position. A very nice piece!
