Q: Are these panels truly 50" wide? I am trying to cover a 100" wide window.

submitted byMindy - 3 years agoTarget staff supportA: Just measured mine, and yes, they are truly 50" wide. However, you'll probably want the curtain to extend not just to the edge of the window but also beyond it - otherwise a lot of light will get out around the edges ...

Very disappointed to hang these curtains and then realize they are not blackout, at all! Light filtering is more accurate. Also, the length from one panel to the next is very inconsistent and looks terrible. The fabric is nice and they were easy to hang.

These curtains are wonderful. the only thing i would change would be to have the bottom hem bar weighted as it moves around too much when the AC kicks on. The blackout material is also not sewn against the bottom hem bar so you see that gap between the two materials. This is something if you are handy with a sewing machine you could add easily. Otherwise, the curtains look great on the wall. A good value for a budget curtain if you cant do custom drapes.

Great looking, fit well- all were the same length. I will say the material is very easily snagged, super delicate. Plus I really loved the price, got all 4 panels for under the cost of a single one I was looking at from another retailer. I really like when there are tabs plus a rod sleeve for hanging options.

I need two panels for a window and I move the color/texture of these! However, every single panel is a different length (by ~3 inches) and several come with flaws in the room darkening liner, letting holes of light through. I've ordered five panels and haven't found two that work together, so unfortunately giving up on these and will continue my search for curtains.

These are so cute and I was so excited about them because I’m switching to working overnights soon, but they’re not blackout curtains. At all. So much light filters through them, direct AND indirect sunlight. Really upset about the functionality, however the color and texture are nice and super easy to put up. Alas, they don’t black out.

The look & quality of these are great! So pretty & timeless. I bought a handful of options for my babies nursery trying to find something that could provide darkness during naptime & be light and airy during the day. It removes some sunlight, but if you are looking for blackout, these are most definitely not blackout. I only used one on each window, so maybe if you use 2 it would help a little more. Overall happpy with the purchase and baby has never had issues sleeping with it during the day.

Very simple and effective curtain. It is a wider weave of fabric with a light color back panel so I thought there was no way it was going to be blackout. I was very wrong and I love them. I get direct sunlight in the mornings and I don’t even notice. I used little hoops and clips on a pole to make it easy to slide the curtains open and they’re perfect for it since they don’t have grommets.
