submitted byM - 3 years agoTarget staff supportA: It washes up beautifully, but don't put it in the dryer. The fabric part comes out nearly dry, but the latex back will still be wet. Drape it over a chair and dry it latex-side up.

Beautiful rug! The color, pattern and size are perfect and I feel like it holds up pretty well over time. The only thing I would change are the decorative tassels on the sides. Being that they are white, they tend to get dirty looking really fast. I wish they were either a different/darker color or weren’t there at all. Other than that, it’s a great accent rug!

This rug is quality. My dogs often like to roll on carpets (or sometimes pee on them). My rug choices revolve around them. This rug has been in my home for sometime its held up well been washed looks like new. The quality i expect from target.

Put in the wash the first time and the edges unraveled making it unsafe to use in my household with cats - too many loose, long strings, & now looks torn up, as well. Do not buy if your main excitement & reasoning is the machine washable part, especially in a pet friendly household. I wish I could get my money back. I loved the appearance and texture of the rug so it’s sad.

Purchased this rug a year ago and loved it, finally decided to wash it following the instructions on the tag and the rubber backing completely fell apart and there's tiny rubber pieces stuck to the front and fringes of the rug, anything else I put in the dryer with it and the rug also got completely frayed ... it's an exhausting mess & disappointing.... all those microplastics will go into our oceans & now I need to throw the rug out. A waste. 😢 If you purchase this vacuum & spot clean it only.
