I do love it, but man that bottom piece in assembly pay extra attention it does not say, i had to take off the bottom piece twice and redo it- the final time after the 4 hour assembly. Unfinished at the bottom and holes for the bottom board to the back- or bottom drawer won’t fully close. Just fyi. But it looks great set up and is a very heavy piece

After putting it together per the instructions, the lock doesn't work. It's also very challenging to get the drawers to align properly so that both can be closed completely. I specifically bought this more expensive Sauder product because I'd had good results in past with a different Sauder filing cabinet. This one wasn't the same quality.

The end result is lovely BUT please know it is not a "small assembly required"! It took 3 of us a total of 4 hours to assemble this file cabinet….NOT for the faint of heart! Buyer beware - this is a complete top to bottom assembly.

At first I experienced the same problem as described in a previous review - drawer did not close all the way and the lock would not engage. A knowledgeable maintenance man in my building suggested rotating the base 180 degrees and that was the perfect solution. Drawers now close perfectly and the unit locks!! Perhaps the directions need updatling as to how to put the base on.

I carefully followed the instructions. The drawers will not close and it will not lock. I have tried to make adjustments but still does not work.
