A: The lamp comes with an incandescent night light bulb (c7) already installed in the base; we replaced ours with an LED. The top requires you to install an additional standard-sized bulb.

Q: Do you put a bulb in the bottom as well as the top? If so, what size bulb on both top and bottom? It says 3 way. Does that mean the top part is 3 way or top on, bottom on, or both on?

Number one is that the order of turning the lights on should be both lights, top light, night light, then off. The nightlight is the first setting so you can't turn off the nightlight without turning on the main bulb and making the room super bright.

I had ordered two of these lamps - One arrived perfect - the second in pieces - I returned the broken one and asked for another - that third arrived and this time was slightly broken - I glued it so I can use it but I would like a reduction in the price - there doesn't seem to be a way to get someone to help with that .... please help !

We had the lamp shipped because it was not in stock at a local store. The lamp arrived in a large box, with zero packaging around the lamp or inside the box. No paper, no bubble wrap, someone literally just set this lamp inside the box, and so it was of course completely broken upon arrival. Seriously, Target?

Lamp itself is great. The night light base is just enough light for changing diapers and late night feeds. The lamp is a great size. Like others have stated, the shipping of this is terrible- there was no care in shipping it.. they just threw it into a big box without careful protection so the drum was so beat up when it came. Luckily the base is ok. You’d think target would be more careful shipping something so fragile! Do better target.

This lamp is very cute and I have wanted it for awhile and finally sprung for it. Unfortunately, it was shipped with very little padding. The base was okay but the prongs for the shade had been bent and snapped. When I looked for a replacement, it was out of stock online and any local stores. Maybe this will never be in stock again so this review is irrelevant. But if it is ever restocked, I highly suggest trying to get it in store and not take the risk having it shipped.

This lamp is adorable. But it is ALWAYS out of stock in my local stores. I happened to catch it in stock and placed a drive up order. Got a notification soon after that it’s out of stock but I could ship it for free. Fair enough. Well, it arrived shattered. The packaging is minimal. A thin, brown papery wrap around the base. No bubble wraps or styrofoam or anything. Target - listen to the many dissatisfied customers here, and for the love of Pete, get some better shipment packaging on this thing. I was so disappointed. Immediately returned, but since they’re always out of stock in store, who knows if/when I’ll get ahold of this lamp.

We have had this lamp for 5-6 yrs and my kids have all loved it. It has a small night light in the bottom and ends up projecting some star-like shapes on the wall. It’s light but yet sturdy and porcelain. It does have a turn switch which allows for the night light only, the lamp, or a combo of both. The white works for a boy or girl.

I love the design of this lamp! The 3 different modes & options are great! Something is wrong with the connection at the top and it’s been flimsy since the day we got it. Now it is completely detached. I have tried to screw it back on but it won’t go. I would love a new lamp because I do really like this

This lamp looks as pictured and is very cute but is unfortunately a very poor design. The base of the lamp is hollow, making it very light and easy to knock over. The biggest design flaw is the cord, which comes out of the TOP of the base. This makes it very easy to knock over and appear cheap, you get what you pay for here. I wanted to like this item but once my baby is mobile, it will have to go due to safety hazard.
