Click File a Claim at the top of the page. 3. If you already have an online account, just log in. To create a new account, enter the email address you used when you purchased your protection plan, click Set Up, and follow the instructions. 4. Click File/View Claim next to the item you’re having trouble with. 5. Follow the steps to file your claim in minutes. We will also need you to submit the item purchase receipt as it will need to be verified before your claim can be processed. To submit your receipt, please use our website upload tool. This process should take you less than 5 minutes to create a login and upload your receipt. The file must be in JPG, TIF or PDF format and it should be less than 5MB. A: Hello Court, SquareTrade protection plans provide coverage up to the maximum coverage price of the protection plan or the purchase price of the item, whichever is lower. Sounds confusing, doesn’t it, but let me explain. What this means is, if the maximum coverage limit of the protection plan you bought is $150 and the item costs $125, we will cover you up to $125. Concurrently, if the maximum coverage limit of the protection plan you bought is $150, but the item costs $175, we will cover you up to $150. If you need to file a claim and the item is repaired, the total value of your coverage will be reduced by the cost of the repair. There is no limit to the number of claims on SquareTrade Protection Plans and they last for your specified coverage term (2 years) or until the coverage amount of your plan is used up. A: Hello Simeonen, We only offer a protection plan for an item within 30 days of its purchase date. If the warranty is purchased outside the 30 days window. Then the warranty is not considered valid and you would not be able to file a claim. I hope this answers your concern. regards, Ali
