A: Hello shopaholic - We appreciate your interest in this item. The interior height of the tray sides is approximately 2.25”. Care instructions for this item are Wipe Clean with Damp Cloth. It should not be immersed in water. if it is a incidental spills of liquid into the tray will be contained in the tray, the tray is not designed or constructed to hold liquids. We ordered this tray for delivery, and it arrived with one of the handles broken off. We ordered a replacement, and it had the same problem. Packaging issues aside, this product clearly has a design flaw in the small/fragile connection point for the handles. The tray itself is nice enough, but durability is a huge concern. Also, the first one we received had a darker finish than the replacement, so the consistency/quality control seems to be off.
