This lamp is very cute, it arrived very well packed and in perfect condition. My only complaint is the gold at the top of the lamp on the finial and metal attached to the shade are all a very cheap looking light gold and do not match the the beautiful more bronze type gold at the base of the lamp. I’ll either paint it or change the finial to make it blend better so I’ll keep it, but I was bummed when I saw the vast difference in color.

I ordered this lamp in mercury glass to go with some other items I already had in my guest room. It is really cute, of decent quality for the price, and is a good size for extra lighting on the dresser - not too big, not too small. It comes with a really nice, linen-look drum shade in off-white that is pretty nice for a lamp in this price range. My only (minor) complaint is that it was a big difficult to unpack, find all the parts, and get assembled. The cord fits very tightly inside the lamp, so when I pulled it through and tried to screw the light onto the base, it did not want to work very well. After multiple attempts, I did get it attached properly. HINT: Be sure to look for the little plastic piece that you'll need to attach before you can turn the lamp on and off - mine almost went into the trash before I realized I'd missed a step!
