Q: Why does my mat leave residue in my washer and dryer, and what can I do about it?

A: Mine does the same, as the nonskid bottom deteriorates over time. I fold the mat over so the nonskid bottom is on the inside in the washing machine and then air dry the mat. I'm just now replacing the mat after 3.5 years of heavy use with 4 kids.

This is the 2nd color I have in this rug, But overall the 3rd one I’ve owned. It vacuums up well, stays put on the floor, and is very absorbent yet breathable!! I don’t recommend putting it in the washing machine (had a cat pee on one and no matter how hard you tried it was just too much work to try and save it—just buy a new one!)

Got these discounted 40% off for Black Friday sale. At the store these were great. Plushy, beautiful, large. Huge problem is these do not dry. Threw them in the washer as soon as I got them, and they’ve been takings several hours drying after throwing these mats in the dryer. Beware, these are thick but incredibly insane to fully dry…

It takes forever to dry like more than a full day. Since I shower everyday I feel like the rug was never actually dried. Before it could dry, I showered again and repeated the cycle.
