Q: What time was this released?

submitted by Cajunmamma - 2 months ago
  • A: 1am eastern time. It seemed they had multiple restocks, but even with that, they were staging/holding checkouts - I had it in my cart for nearly two hours and was never able to successfully check out

submitted bydisptbh - 2 months ago
  • A: It was about 1am EST. Every once in a while one box would come back in stock and immediately sell again. Too many errors when I originally tried to check out. Sold out in about 35 mins

submitted byScreen Name - 2 months ago
  • A: 10pm PST on 1/16. Unable to checkout. Absolutely pathetic

submitted by - 2 months ago
  • A: It was released on midnight

submitted byUCHIHA - 2 months ago
  • A: Had in my cart, said high demand 3 times then sold out. Outrageous

submitted byKess - 2 months ago
  • A: I got one from InStock app alerts me.

submitted byJonh - 2 months ago

  • A: Give me one or else I’m gonna cry

submitted byBet With Beth - 2 months ago
  • A: 12am Est. If you're like me and you're on the Westcoast it was too late.

submitted byMarie - 2 months ago
  • A: Pokémon restocks at physical Targets are managed by a third-party vendor (day-to-day Target Employees do not restock the Trading Cards). It depends on the vendor and where your local store is on their schedule. Online stock availability varies but Target should be allowed to sale at 12:00 AM the day of release (based on time zone of the store and the customer).

submitted byTheLandoCal - 2 months ago
  • A: Never. Target sold exclusively to bots and scalpers.

submitted byJ - 2 months ago
  • A: 1/16/25 at 10:25pm PsT. Got 3

submitted byShorty - 2 months ago
  • A: Just got one in store 🥳 and the app last night

submitted byJoeSavage - 2 months ago

Q: How much should I resell the 3 I bought for? $200 per?

submitted by ScalperReseller - 2 months ago
  • A: I'd take them for $55 per.

    submitted byMike k - 2 months ago
  • A: $120-$130 or like that. Ignore the salty people, they just didn't manage to check out lol

submitted byThePantsParty - 2 months ago
  • A: ^ || || Keep Yourself Safe :) Resell them for normal price (55-60$) like a good person and don't be a scalper

    submitted byDaylin9191 - 1 month ago

Q: Will it ever be 1 per person?

submitted by A very chill guy - 2 months ago
  • A: prob not at ur location

submitted byanother chill dude - 2 months ago
  • A: No. Target is a greedy company that doesn't limit products because money is their only priority.

submitted byCris - 2 months ago

Q: Why is target not addressing auto purchase bots?

submitted by Executive contact request - 1 month ago
  • A: Why would they? That’s not their job. Anti bot is not as easy as 1.2.3 plus the investment is not worth it. Unfortunately for you and I, we can only hope there’s enough stock so that we can purchase when it drops but there’s no way in stopping bots.

    submitted byIsuktoes9 - 1 month ago
  • A: they don’t care about auto buying bots as long as they get their money, supposedly there is rumors of target making back door deals for their stock to scalpers for above msrp and they mark up higher…

submitted byTarget and Scalpers alike - 1 month ago

Q: What time would this be released?

submitted by - 2 months ago
  • A: Official release is 1/17/2023. May retail stockers may have put it out early as they have their own stocking schedule and may have to stock several stores. The Pokemon Company will reprint more.

If you enjoy flushing your money down the toilet... help yourself. They are overpriced and you would need to get a huge hit just to break even. Your gonna lose 99% of the time.

Never Recieved Item

Ddizzle - 15 days ago, Verified purchaser
Never received item. received email stating label was created, and no update for shipping. When contacting customer service they noted that package may be missing. I dont understand how you can accept orders and not have the product. I see this is a common theme for this product and it is very unprofessional and bad practice to not honor your orders. I was told there may be a restock but the same issue might happen again so what is the point? Thanks Target for ruining my bday gift to my nephews.

Dont Even Bother

For my local Target, it seems like a few things happen: the distributors hold this and resell for double the cost, it's sold before it ever hits the shelves, or scalped by people who stalk or know whoever stocks it. Target could easily solve this with limits and keeping these behind the desk, but they don't even try.

Charged but never arrived.

1 out of 5 stars
Campy - 21 days ago, Verified purchaser
Never arrived, ordered at midnight on release day and the label was created nearly a month ago. It has no tracking and I was charged three weeks ago. I doubt this will ever show up. More and more employees seem to be making these “disappear”. Target help is also useless. They offer to cancel it but I literally cannot find these anywhere so I can’t replace it. Guess I’m stuck waiting. Disappointed on this one.

Was charged for the product, and never received it. Received no update from target about why it showed “shipping“ for nearly one month, and unable to report any sort of help via the Target app or website, because “trading cards are unable to be returned“. I don’t want to return it, I just want to know why it’s stuck in limbo.

As a mom of a 13yr olds Pokemon collector, I was able to snag one inside Target as a merchant was loading them on the shelf (Thursday @2pm, 2/13). Glad I checked even though it felt like a long shot but now I’m grateful. Definitely pass by and try if able.

Managed to order one and they never shipped it out. After several days of being told to wait one more day, they considered it missing and refunded me the money. Managed to beat the bots, waited three weeks, only for Target to mess up.

Love that I was able to get my hands on this ETB! With scalpers taking them all it’s been almost impossible. The artwork is amazing and hopefully I can get more soon! Target is the only place I’ve had a chance to get one

Ended up getting extremely lucky and got 3 ETBs. Bought them for my boyfriend’s Bday as he is plays Pokémon and loves opening the new sets (this one was almost impossible to get). We opened them up as soon as we got them and ended up getting an Umbreon in one of the ETBs!
