A: Here are some tips to keep in mind when caring for our fashion forward finishes: *Although dishwasher safe, the ideal method for washing any flatware is by hand . *-Wash your flatware as soon as possible after use. Some foods can promote staining/corrosion. *Avoid soaking stainless flatware in water for an extended period of time. *-Avoid air drying if possible. Using a soft cloth to dry is beneficial. *Do not wash your stainless flatware with any abrasive or acidic cleaning agents and do not soak flatware overnight. *Do not use steel wool pads or detergent/polish compounds that scratch stainless steel or the coating. *Knives are especially vulnerable as the scratch surface becomes more sensitive to rusting.

The black was already flaking off of these when I opened them. They definitely won’t last with daily use. Will be returning.

Occasionally we see a bad batch sneak through our quality checking, although this is very rare, it is a possibility. Sometimes in the finishing process, minor surface defects get brushed over making it very difficult to spot when checking. These minor defects then cause trouble in the washing process. Once the surface is broken the corrosion resistance is compromised and black/brown marks or rusting can occur. If there is anything else we can do to help, please let us know info@cambridgehome.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This black silverware set is gorgeous! They make every meal look more sleek! Each piece has a great weight to it that feels well made. The look is modern and close to matte. The forks and spoons are all great shapes and the big ones don’t feel too awkward to eat off of. I follow the directions for washing in the dishwasher and these pieces have held up so nicely! I will be buying 2 more sets to have 12 pieces of all of them. They are stunning pieces and I am so glad I found some that stand up to the dishwasher!

These have nice weight to them that you can tell they are high quality but not to heavy. Very happy with these and will probably buy another set.

I like that all the silverware isn’t too heavy or bottom heavy, it’s the same weight through the whole thing. I really enjoy using them to eat. I really love they that they come with a 25 year limited warranty. They are super easy to clean. I thought they were going to flake off, thankfully they haven’t. I really recommend them! So great!
