We got these as a Christmas present and they rusted pretty quickly, just like everyone else has been saying. Which is a shame because they are the perfect size and style.

Bought this set for my mom as a gift. The handles were strangely LONG. I Had unpacked them before I realized it. Unfortunately I couldn’t return the item. I would not recommend!!!!

One wash through the dishwasher with a “free and clear” non-lemon soap made the knives rust. Such a shame because the shape and size are beautiful.

We would like to explain why this sometimes occurs. Occasionally we see a bad batch sneak through our quality checking, although this is very rare, it is a possibility. Sometimes in the finishing process, minor surface defects get brushed over making it very difficult to spot when checking. These minor defects then cause trouble in the washing process. Once the surface is broken the corrosion resistance is compromised and black/brown marks or rusting can occur. If there is anything else we can do to help, please let us know info@cambridgehome.com

Pure garbage. If I could give zero stars I would. After only 1 washing a knife started to rust. Within a couple more washings, all the knives have rust marks and the forks have started rusting. No, that is not stuck on food in the picture

We are sorry to hear of the problem you are having with your flatware. Occasionally discoloration or rust may appear on flatware, which could be caused by oxidation, which occurs when the flatware is left in a moist environment such as the dishwasher or left to drip dry. We recommend using the heat cycle for drying when washing your flatware in the dishwasher opposed to the air-dry cycle. Once the dishwasher has finished running, we recommend removing your flatware promptly. When washing by hand, use hot, soapy water, rinse and dry immediately with a soft cloth. If you notice an occasional rust spot use a stainless cleaner such as Soft Scrub or Bon Ami, which you can purchase at your local supermarket.

Rusted so fast! Just moved and they didn’t even last 3 weeks.. super disappointed and definitely want a refund. The pictures only showed two of the knifes but the whole set is rusted just like that

Do not recommend buying. I bought this set in store without looking at the reviews. After putting in the dishwasher once, they stared rusting. When I checked the reviews, I noticed everyone had the same problem. They should really remove these from the stores as it’s a waste of money. Luckily I was able to return and get my money back.

I really like the proportions of this silverware set. Most silverware is shorter and wider than I like but these are long and thin. I like all the sizes especially the smaller ones and they have a nice weight to them. I haven’t had any issues with tarnishing even after multiple washes in the dishwasher but I have only had them for about 2 weeks.

Threshold Harrington 20 pc flatware I bought two sets because I liked the style and weight of the silverware. However I had to return both and did not repurchase. Several pieces had tarnish spots straight out of the box. I did not think they would last long term.
