Q: Can I use bleach on this? Looking to use for college dorm.

A: This rug is 100% Cotton, you should not use bleach on cotton fabrics. It breaks down the fibers & weakens them. Eventually causing them to fall apart. If you’re concerned about germs there’s many other additives you can ad to the wash cycle to kill germs without bleach.

A: It fits under our bathroom door but I'm not sure it would fit under for everyone. The rug is a bit thick. We like it a lot but would not have kept it if it didn't fit under our door.

Q: Is the teal color more sage green or actually teal?

Here it is light teal or light sage green; while both are shades of green, teal is a much more vibrant blue-green, whereas sage green is a muted, earthy green with grayish undertones; essentially, teal is a brighter and more saturated color compared to sage green. Great color easy to wash. I have a few different colors in all my baths. They maintain their shape the corners don’t roll up after washing. Wish they had at least a line of a rubber or sticky backing. Nothing a rug pad doesn’t fix.

I have two of these. I loved the one I bought for my guest bath so much, I bought one later for my own bath. Great neutral color (sand) goes very well with my bathrooms. I wash them about every other week (I have a front-load washer, so no agitator for them to get caught on) and put them in the dryer and they look good as new! I live in a dry climate (desert southwest) and have no problems with them retaining moisture, but they are 100% cotton so consider that before purchasing. I'm a natural fibers freak, so this works for me. Not sure how long they'll last, but I'd buy them over and over again, if necessary.

I took this out of the package, removed the tags, and tossed it in the wash before using it the first time. It immediately snagged, really noticeably. Based on this experience, I’d say this is low quality or poorly made and won’t last. I won’t not recommend this.

Even hanging it up after showers, this this takes days to dry and I feel like it's bound to harbor mildew as a result. I only ever buy cotton bath mats and I've never owned one that takes so long to dry. Definitely a poorly thought out design.
