24" 15pk Hobnail Self-Stick Carpet Tiles - Foss Floors

We needed something in front of our front door to catch sand, snow, and general shoe dirt but most rugs we tried slid around and rubber backed rugs were too thick since the door opens inward. These squares were the perfect thickness. They were easy to install and they have not lifted or shifted at all. We can use a small stick type rechargeable vacuum to tidy up. The extra carpet tiles have come in handy for a few small projects too! I covered the dog steps for our chihuahua so to make them non-slip & I cut a little square out for the foot pedal on my wife’s industrial sewing machine. Now she can sew barefoot and her friends are now doing the same for their machines. I might buy a couple of boxes and carpet my office this fall. I would really like to see how the Peel and Stick First Impressions Black Ice Hobnail Texture 24x24 Commercial Carpet Tiles hold up to actual use before submitting review. My first impression is that they are thin and the weave of the carpet is not tight. The stickiness seems to work for placement, the tiles remind me of a cheap doormat or boot mat. I have them placed in an area with high traffic and they are holding up ok. I am unsure if the product will pass the test of time. I do not think the sticky part will last through a georgia summer. I am very pleased with the peel and stick carpet tiles. I found them very easy to install. I would like to get more to carpet larger and more areas. I can't believe how amazing it looks with such little time. These tiles can make the average person feel like they have done a professional job. The pattern and color are perfect. I got these peel and stick carpet tiles a couple weeks ago and installed them in my garage. I have a door that leads from inside my house to the garage and I put them in the walkway on the garage side so when you are exiting the garage to come back into the house there is a place to either clean off your shoes, or leave them. They were extremely easy to install, you literally peel the paper backing off and stick it onto the floor. It has a sticky adhesive on the back side. I would definitely recommend cleaning your existing floors before doing this to ensure there is no dirt or debris left on the floor so that these have a clean surface to stick to. I laid them all over the floor in front of the door In a large rectangular pattern and its a perfect transitional space. The hobnail black is a great color that looks sophisticated and still hides a lot of dirt. The carpets are really easy to clean, I either take a broom or a light vacuum to them when they are looking dirty. Overall I am happy with these and how unbelievably easy they are to install. I had big plans for the Peel and Stick First Impressions Black Ice Hobnail Texture 24 in. x 24 in. Commercial Carpet tiles. We are finishing our basement and I want to lay these carpet tiles out in my new laundry room to give it a nice finish look. Once the Carpet tiles arrived I was so impressed with the look and quality of the carpet tiles I decided they need to be put in a place in my home where others could see and enjoy them as much as me. So I decided to put them in my entry way/front door foyer. These are so easy to lay for even the most clueless like myself when it come to laying a carpet. First I laid them all down with the backing still attached to be sure I was going to like the look and to see how much coverage I was going to get and where and if I would need to do any trimming. Then I just pulled the backing off and aligned them as closely as I could to prevent a noticeable seam. Pressed firmly and Voila! I have Vacuum them several time and there has been no lifting or shifting. I'm very pleased with the quality and durability of this carpet tile. I will need to buy more to continue down the hallway passed my foyer to complete the look. The one thing I did notice is they say 15 tiles per case my case had 9. I think these are great. I placed them under my elliptical they really helped to stabilize the machine. I believe it will also save any scratching from the elliptical moving. I installed all of them myself in about 10 minutes. I am pleased with the amount of adhesive on the bottom. I can tell they will not be going anywhere.
