A: Hello Justine, this stool is made in Malaysia. It is crafted from a solid select Asian hardwood. The hardwood used is rubberwood. The rubberwood is harvested from plantation grown trees.

Q: Are the barstool legs made from solid select Asian hardwood or MDF ? The description under "highlights" says hardwood, and the specifications says legs are made from MDF. There is a big difference.
