Q: How tall is each shelf - I have some 3 ring binders that are 11.75" tall will they fit?

  • A: Yes and no. I am storing 11.5" tall binders on the bottom shelf but it's a tight fit. However, the middle section is slightly taller at 12" so you should be able to put your 11.75" binders on the middle shelf (but not on the bottom shelf). On a side note, this Tuscan 3 tier bookshelf is absolutely beautiful in person and I have been extremely happy with this purchase! Good luck!

  • A: The height of both shelves is 11 1/2 inches, a bit shorter than what you need. The shelves are fixed, so you cannot adjust them. It is a nice, sturdy piece but I don't think it will work for your situation.

I was able to put this together myself. It was easy enough, although I ended up using my drill to help speed up the screwing in of the bolts, which was tedious to do manually. The shelf seems very sturdy. It looks great. I would buy again (and may get another one).

Took me a little while to assemble since I did it by myself and could have done it faster with a "third hand" but this is a really nice accent piece, SUPER strong and durable. We live near the beach so I just hope the salt air doesn't corrode the metal. Definitely love the style and materials are very good quality. Would recommend, yes.

It looks beautiful and only took 30 mins to put together. But unfortunately it is just not sturdy. For $130 it should be so much better. Disappointed since it was a Mother’s Day gift for plants and books.

It looks nice and was easy to assemble. The reason I did not give it 5 stars was that it was taller than it said. I ordered this one because if would fit under my desk. I just left the top off and it worked fine. I even tried it without the little leveling feet. Still too tall. But it looks great and works, so I will just store the top in case I want to move it

I love this Tuscan 3 tier bookcase! It's absolutely gorgeous and looks much more expensive than it is. I have several plain jane bookcases but was looking for one that was more stylish and decorative. After weeks of searching stores and popular online site, I found this beauty at Target. It's tricky to buy furniture online since you don't know if it will look as good in person. However, this bookcase exceeded my expectations! The shelves are less than 12" apart so it does limit what you can store on each shelf (i.e. tall binders/books, etc). Personally, I'm storing 11.5" photo album binders on the bottom shelf and am using the middle and top shelves for decorative items that I wanted to display. Re assembly, it's very easy to assemble and is also very sturdy once assembled. However, the sturdy metal frame takes a little bit of effort to assemble; the key is to keep the screws loose until you have the entire frame put together. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it if you are looking for a stylish, high quality bookcase!
